I just want to remind you all to take a deep breath and remember that you are doing an awesome job teaching your kids.  The longer you homeschool, the better you become at relaxing.  I'm finally getting it!  I'm finally realizing that it's not just about the curriculum, it's about over-all smartness.  It's about teaching your children to teach themselves.  As long as they can find the answer, there is no stopping them in what they want to learn.


Okay, I'm breathing and I'm relaxing!   TM : )

Thank you for the deep breath reminder-- that's important! I may not be relaxing more, but you are right-- the longer you homeschool, the more you see a bigger (and better) picture of what's important. : )

I no longer panic (as much... I won't claim I never panic, lol) when things don't work out the way I planned because I have found there are hidden gems and pleasures that we have only discovered by going down other paths.
