As a homeschool Mom, I am always trying to stay ahead of my children.  It's like a race to see who can come up with the correct answer first, or at least who can argue the point best.  This, of course, is a race unknown to my kids.  Little do they know, I'm in the dark corner researching and preparing for their questions.  "MOM!  Do you know how blah, blah, blah makes the blah, blah, blah turn different shades of green?"  Me: "Uhhhh, did you look in the dictionary?"  I'm constantly on my toes when it comes to witty remarks, especially when the words come out of my mouth.  "Why do you think the blah, blah, blah turns green?"  And if I've been doing my job right, they usually come up with the correct answer all on their own.  So I've made it through another week of staying in front, if you need me, you'll find me in the dark corner doing my research.   TM : )
