You know you are a homeschool Mom when...

  • you actually are smarter than a 5th grader.
  • your favorite question to ask your kids is, "Well, what do you think it means?"
  • you make grocery shopping a learning experience starting with the grocery list, it counts for handwriting & spelling!
  • you actually know more digits in pi than the normal 3.14 and you really do know how to use it.
  • And my favorite... When strangers comment, "What grade are your kids?  They're so smart!"    TM : )

boy, you would think I'd learn to stop hitting "Enter" prior to actually leaving my comment! Yeesh.....

Yes, it's funny how these things start to dawn on me...I love the looks we get from people sometimes when we are having discussions about life. I love the smiles from moms I suspect also home schooled their children, or who simply appreciate what we are doing. It's all good! :)

OK, here are my responses:

You know you are a homeschool Mom when...

--you visit Disneyland on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

--you realize you have visited every museum, park, library and beach in your area... many times over.

--your 11 year old boy still wants to hang out with you. : )
